At Bluebox Associates we are able to support health and social care professionals, patients and their families to help resolve conflicts about care and treatment.  We recognise the importance of trust and good communication between all those involved and it is our aim to ensure this remains at the heart of the decision making process.  We try to prevent disputes reaching the point where asking the courts is the only option available.

We are able to confidently approach the dispute resolution process, having regard to the perspective of both the professionals and the service users/families. We create the right environment for all those involved to identify and express the areas for resolution and support them through the process of reaching an agreement.

Whilst our role is not as a legal advisor, we have extensive experience in supporting professionals in sound decision making relating to complex care matters, ensuring compliance with legal decision making frameworks such as the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and facilitating engagement with families and carers.   Our legal background therefore places us in the unique position of understanding the legal duties of the professionals involved in the decision making process and the rights of those to whom the decision relates.
